Is it normal for my furnace to smell when I first turn it on?
A light dusty smell for the first 15 to 30 minutes of the season is normal. A rotten-egg smell may mean a gas leak: leave the house and call the gas company. A burning or electrical smell that does not fade means shut the system off and call us.
Heat pump or furnace: which is better in East Texas?
Our mild winters make heat pumps very efficient most of the year. Many homes pair a heat pump with a gas furnace backup for the coldest nights. We will help you choose based on your home, fuel availability and budget.
Do you offer emergency heating repair?
Yes. We offer 24/7 emergency heating service across our East Texas service area.
How often should my heating system be serviced?
Once a year in the fall. A tune-up catches small problems early, keeps the system safe and protects your manufacturer warranty.
